I do not ask for the email...always their number.
But I do get the email after awhile..if I think they are the type of person who actually checks it.
As for any other ways...I do not think you need any other ways. I usually say something like
You should give me your number
Which works well for me.

Experiment...and see which gives you the most success.
Though, from my experience I prefer phone over email anyway. So I would always go for the phone and if she does not want to give me her number.....then obvouisly I did not make a big enouggh impression on her.
I do think that in terms of email the UK is behind the US in relation to general use and also you then the risk of being stereotyped as computer buff as its not as commonly used. I believe.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.
You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

instead of asking for the number..try asking for the virginity..i heard that works all the time in the UK. cheers
