Hey everyone, first off i'd like to say just how great this site actually is, i only wish i had found it a few years earlier. anyway.

i was lookin for clothes in this shop today and there was this really cute shop assistant helping out, i picked out two shirts, and asked for her advice and she seemed really very happy to help me out.. She was also smiling a lot a me in particular, and taking looks at me while i was lookin around.. lotsa eye contact. So i took this all as signs and i went up to her and asked her name, and then asked "dya fancy comin out for a drink?".. she goes like "umm.. i'm not sure" and i say "fair enough" and walk away..

i'm really confused!, was that my fault?

Did you talk to her besides pickin out cloths and gettin her name?

If not, that was ur problem. In the future, just throw in the question "What do ya do when your not sellin cloths?" or something to that effect, to get the conversation more personal.

dude, salespeople have to act really happy and interested or else they get fired. i know this cause i used to be one. btw, no i did not get fired
