i got 2 questions:
(1)One is im confused about this cuz it seems like the information contradicts itself. Some people say high reps ( which ive heard is bs and i dont do) but what about like... why does it help to try to do as many reps as u can with a heavy weight? like there obviously must be a use for tryin really hard to push up the last few your trying to do. u know when ur not sure if ull be able to push the weight up or not but u still try really hard... thats what im talking about. so what about just trying to use a higher weight but only do like 1 rep at a time with it... how much different wil those things work.

(2)Also.... my right arm has a very noticable difference than my left arm, u can very easily tell its bigger... can yall give me any tips so that i can have them both the same size?

The only time I've ever heard its good to do high reps (12-15) is:
(1) When you are first learning how to work out and trying to learn good form
(2) If you are alternating between low reps+high weight one week and high reps+less weight the next week (some people do this to keep the body from adapting and getting lazy)

Other than that, if you can do 12 or more reps you should add more weight.

Use dumbbell excercises so that each arm has to do the same amount of work.

I think it is so that your muscles get the best workout. When you go until muscle failure your muscles break down more, so when they heal they're bigger and stronger. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. :)
