A really good way to lose weight is by doing high reps. You want to do 3 sets of one exercise. But, the trick is, once you finish the set you move to the next exercise and you don't do all 3 sets in a row. You move from machine to machine. So, you finish one set of lets say 12 exercises, then you do 5 minutes of cardo. Then do it all over again. This is known as Circuit Training.

Circuit training is glorified cardio. Yeah, you'll lose weight, a lot of muscle weight along with the fat. Not good if you're "cutting up".
