Sneevox
Senior Don Juan
The following comes from my personal experience and various psychology databases and books.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We've all done it. We've all been at that point where we realize just being the person we already are is not working. It's not what what we want to be.
Right?
Don't say this isn't true.
In fact, even if you've never been the kind of guy/girl to go and follow the crowd, you've mimicked before.
Maybe you didn't do this as a teenager or an adult, but every person in the world has mimicked someone before... as a child.
I, myself, really loved Superman as a child. There was NOTHING he couldn't do! He was the ultimate exemplification of bad@ssery.
...I mean, this guy could fvcking fly at the speed of light, stop bullets with his bare hands, see through walls, freeze people by simply breathing on them, pick up entire trucks and such with his bare hands, and shoot fvcking LASERS from his eyes!
Every little boy has mimicked some super hero or idle as a child, whether it be Superman, like me, or maybe his older brother, dad, uncle, grandpa, or whatever!
Little girls did the same. It was in their nature to want to be a lovely princess or a ballerina or anything like that! Every girl, at one point, has wanted to become a glorious object of desire! That's right, like we all say on this forum, girls WANT you to desire them.
Back on subject....
The power of mimicking another individual is beyond what you can imagine.
Sure, it's in your right mind to grow into the desired person you want to be rather than just mimic, BUT, I'll bet you all of the money in my wallet (0.00$) that when you mimicked that super hero, uncle or father, you felt stronger, bigger and more powerful than who you were behind that mimicry.
Not just big, strong and powerful, but confident.
Confidence, as we know, is the key to success.
It is in our human nature to mimic what we want to become. We see kids everywhere dressing like their peers in hopes for acceptance, and guess what, kiddies?
Their mimicry leads to their acceptance.
Now, I am not implying that you go and drop your personality in order to be accepted by a few simple little girlies.
No, this is all about the power of mimicry and why you should try it.
When you mimic another individual, friends, you become that person for a moment. You take on their strength, their confidence, and their power... BUT, you must remember something:
To surround yourself with happiness, success and such things as those is to force your way of life and way of learning to become so. Spending more time on this forum will do something, but it will not change you.
No, no... It is the complete and absolute truth to believe that you must go out and surround yourself with learning. Surround yourself with failure, with constant happiness with your failure and growth, and with the success. Even with failure comes success, friends, because you are learning, and learning is the only (aside from, of course, spiritual growth) true success in life on Earth.
This means that getting that girl is not your success. If you get that girl and remain the same person you are because you truly believe she is happy, who are you mimicking? You are mimicking yourself. You must mimic the figure that you want to be in order to become that figure. Always be looking for growth.
"As you think, you shall become."
A Don Juan is not a person. It is not a trait. It is not a character (aside from the mythology, of course.)
A Don Juan is a way of life. It is the key to confidence and success. To mimic a Don Juan is to mimic that way of life.
As far as I can tell, mimicking a way of life is impossible unless you literally change your life...
Namaste.
