I ran into this site by sheer coincidence and thought that most of the advise was pretty good. I can shed a little bit of insight because this has happened to me before. I hope I am not too late as the last post was in August. I do want to clarify a couple of things.

For the most part, it's what got you together and then you hope that everything else about the person is just as great.
