Title says it all. My hematocrit is a bit high and I'm going to give some blood to help lower it. Men should be giving blood anyways since we do not bleed regularly like females and thus, our bodies do not have a need to express a lot of EPO and generate new erythrocytes.

Is it necessary to wait anymore than 24 hours post blood donation to lift heavy?
