I normally don't do this, but this has been so extraordinary and out of the realm of what I thought possible, that I have to post about this program, just so others can possibly benefit.
A little background on me first. Before starting this program, I weighed 206 lbs and had roughly 14% bodyfat(caliper measured). I am a classic endo/meso body type in that I gain muscle very easily but have a hard time losing fat. I want to get down to 8% by the end of May, and started doing some research into various programs out there and landed on this particular one by John Romaniello. Not only did I like what he had to say regarding hormonal manipulation, which I am a big proponent of, but he said a lot of similar things to another program I follow for muscle building called "The Blueprint" by Rob Regish(an absolutely TREMENDOUS program if you are looking to gain muscle mass in the shortest time possible). The two programs talk about a LOT of the same things, only Fat Loss Forever talked about them in terms of how to manipulate the hormones to lose fat quickly while gaining a little muscle and The Blueprint talked about them in terms of how to gain muscle quickly while losing some fat. Since I know the Blueprint works because I gained an insane amount of muscle over a period of about 10 months with it(to the point I was getting stopped in the gym by people and having them ask me if I was a bodybuilder), I had a pretty good feeling this was going to work too. Throw in that another person I really respect, Elliott Hulse(Lean Hybrid Muscle) thinks enough of John Romaniello to feature him on his guest segments, and it didn't take much for me to be sold.
So anyways, on to the program. It came with 2 options, a 10 Day Rapid Meltdown which promised between 5-13+ lbs of pure bodyfat lost in 10 days and the normal Fat Loss Forever(FLF from now on) program, consisting of a 7 day cycle. Since I am trying to get to 8% Bodyfat by the end of May, I went for the Rapid Meltdown to start. Right off the bat on the first workout I knew this dude was not playing. Basically the first day starts off with a cheat day and a "Density workout", which is his version of EDT blocks.
I had done EDT blocks many times before, but these are a different beast altogether. In 53 minutes I had lifted over 26,000 lbs, which was easily more than I had ever done before. Then came the fun part and the cheat day was followed by a fast day, then a 16/8 IF day, followed by another fast day. The workouts during this time period were not much fun either. On my 2nd density workout in the same 53 minutes, I lifted over 55,000!! lbs. That is not a typo. I felt wrecked for about 2 days after that. In the first 10 days, I had dropped 8 pounds and lost 1.25" off my waist. Keep in mind that I wasn't really "fat" to begin with in comparison to the average person looking to lose weight, and the results are even more amazing to me. After the 10 day Meltdown, I continued with the normal program and have lost another 4 lbs so far. In 14 days, I am down a total of 12 lbs, going from 206 to 194 lbs. This is completely uncharted territory for me, as I have never lost this kind of weight this fast before, and did not even think it was possible for my body type.
The workouts are absolutely brutal, but I love them. It should also be noted when following these programs, I do it to a "T". If the program told me to get up at 3am every morning and go outside and run around the block 3 times, I would do it, so as far as that goes, I know I am getting as optimal results as possible based on what I am supposed to be doing.
My "lovehandles" are almost completely gone already, I have lost noticeable fat especially around my lower abdomen(my worst area, as I am sure a lot of other guys worst area as well), and I am starting to see increased definition pretty much everywhere. I can't wait to see where I get to on this program, because as soon as I am at where I want to be, I am turning around and running "The Blueprint" again, making sure my caloric intake is set up to build muscle without much fat, and piling on the muscle for the next 10 months.
Without a doubt, I would recommend this program to anyone looking to drop 5-6% bodyfat quickly, within 12 or 14 weeks. It works, almost better than I can believe, and the guy knows what he is talking about(he trains actors and celebrities that can pay to have anyone train them) and is completely jacked, so obviously he practices what he preaches.
