I broke of with my latest last week, really wasnt feeling it at the end and she was getting all happy families on me, anyway, rather than do the complete total NC thing, I really only stopped calling or texting.
still have her on FB to observe her behaviour, as predicted, a period of gnashing and wailing (sympathy hugs etc etc...then today, days later...sexy dress, glammed u, new profile pic..and is out with the gilrs tonight!
also, new profile on POF, glammed up pic and all.
Its just too predictable, ironically she was on FB today when I was on, she messages me.."are you ever going to talk to me again?"a little small talk followed before I signed out, then the new pic, the announcement, the pof profile...
I am anything but upset about this, just an observation of the fact that women will resort to this type of behaviour, from being heartbroken to party animals within such a short time, some of it I think is for my 'benefit' (look what your giving up stuff) and Im sure the pics of said night out will appear on FB tomorrow and a mention of a man maybe!
I will continue to observe for my own amusement for a short while before de friending her.

You dumped her. She has no obligation towards you anymore. Its not up to you to dictate how she copes or who she copes with. From what you're saying she really wanted you. You didn't want her so now she's trying to get over you, in the best way possible; by showing off how phisicaly desirable she is.

Seems like you want her to endlessly grieve over someone who didn't want her. You'd be doing the exact same sh1t if the roles were reversed.

You better believe that is what women do, and not very surprising unless you still believe that girls regard sex as some sort of sacred cow.

But I found there are degrees, some girls go nuts and others just get with like 1 guy or maybe just blow a guy or something before they settle back into a more conservative mode. But there is always at least 1 rebound sex act within the first month or so. And then some stay single and date around for a looong while, and others will get into another full blown relationship really fast within 6 months.

I never said there was a problem, it doesnt bother me, Just observing the predictable pattern. yeah they can go crazy on you but I at least screen those ones out to a degree.

How is what doing what she is doing any different then what we tell(or be told) others on here to do? She is keeping busy, going out with friends. One of the big things to do that is preached on this website for after breakup situations to show her (without contact) that you are just as well without her and that its HER loss in the situation. She is just doing the same exact stuff we preach here, minus the whole FB conversation which is AFC.

I'm pretty sure that the LTR I broke up with rebounded with another guy very fast after I dumped her. I've seen that action quite often in both sexes. I think it's just psychologically validating. Does it matter?

the difference is that women buy into this crap and believe it, its a marvellous outlet of validation and support, another example of the advantage women have over men, the public outpouring!

It's well known that women build better social support systems than men do. Men are more independent, and it's considered more masculine to suffer in silence.

Sounds like she's doing what she should be doing. So what if she might be hurting inside? She's getting on with her life. Take right action despite what you might be feeling, as Tyler Durden says.
