Me and my friend have been, well friends for 3 years now ever since we both graduated from high school. He's been dating this girl who he met on PlentyofFish.com for 8 months now. She turns out to be controlling, manipulative, aggressive (she's an athlete), and I think she's bi-polar. My friend has gotten into a huge mess with this girl, and I'm trying to bring him out of it. No offense to my friend, but he's coming off as a total beta when dealing with this problem. Just last night, he called me and said he needs to see a therapist for advice to sort his life out. This girl has had a bad history with males from the past, and unfortunately, my friend has been paying their dues for it. She constantly has "nightmares" of him cheating on her. There is no trust coming from her side in this relationship at all. My friend would sometimes tell me how she would not listen when he would engage in a conversation when they are alone. He drives to her house nearly 20 minutes every three days of the week to go see her. Don't get me wrong, she cooks and fvcks him, but he can do much better.
I want to talk to him tonight to tell him to leave this girl, because she has a lot to do with the lack of happiness in his life, but I don't want to come off the wrong way. I remember him before he met this broad, and his life was so much different for the better back then. Should I introduce him to this forum and the DJ Bible? As a friend, I want the best for him, and this girl is definitely stopping him from reaching his full potential. He's a great guy, but come on...I think he's suffering from onetis. I want to take him out of the mess that he's in right now, and start building from ground up to become truly a Don Juan.
