Appx 3 weeks ago I got the number from a HB8-9 at a bar. She was with her friends and I told her they should all come dancing down the street with my friend and I, but she told me the friend's bfs weren't trying to leave. I laughed and said they must not be dancers and snagged the number from her anyway and left. The whole interaction wasn't longer than 30 seconds.

So I got busy with xmas and new years stuff and figured everyone else was too. Has the window of opportunity passed?

This is the hottest girl I've gotten digits from since parting ways with my ex so thus the post.

Well I called before checking back in here. Convo went something like this:

Me: Hey it's AW, I met you at the club, lets get dinner Thur or Fri

Her: ummmm, who?

Me: I talked you and your friends about going dancing at X club but their bf's were not down

Her: Um, I don't remember

Me: Yeah I got busy with Xmas and New years but hey surprise yourself and go out with some guy you don't know

Her: I'll have to think about that

Me: (laughing because I know it's done) Alright later.

And then I hung up.

So yes, don't wait too long gentlemen.

It all depends on your gauge of her interest level.

In scenarios where you haven't built a lot of rapport then you have to act sooner rather than later.

A 30 second conversation doesn't give you much chance to build interest.

I generally hold open the door, although, i was yelled at for "takig away a womans rights and dignity by HOLDING the dooe for her."

Stuff like that made me want to slam it in her face.

That and i get up for pregnant women on the train. HOWEVER, i fell asleep once and a pregnant woman walked up to me and smacked me in the head. WTF. sorry i didnt knoe your preggo @#$ was rolling onto the train while im asleep from a 10 hour shift
 

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.
