Dating this girl. All she talks about, every other sentence is "I date I guy who did this...."

She gives the impression that she's dated tons of guys! On top of that, we had sex our first date...

Anyway, she's working closely on a project with some guy who is constantly hitting on her. No worries from me, I tell her to just tell him she has a boyfriend, and nip it in the bud.

Well, the other day, this guy brings her a CROCK POT of beef stew so she "doesn't have to make dinner". (WTF?)

She takes it home with her.

In my opinion, if she doesn't have the judgement to say "I have a boyfriend, he wouldn't like this, this is inappropriate". Why do I say this? Because she took the Crock Pot home. And enjoyed this *******'s beef stew.

I promptly dumped her with no ifs, ands or buts. (I have other options.)

Was that the right move?
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

You made the wrong move. You should have asked her to share some of the beef stew, or she should have asked guy for another bowl for you. That is just inconsiderate. But, now a days beef has anti-biotics, growth hormones, so, maybe you made a good health choice.

Call her at once and ask her to leave some of that beef stew for you. Maybe she didn't eat it all up.

Lol.. you should have gone over her place that night and ate the loser's beef stew with her. Free dinner for having a hot girlfriend. He was probably a "nice guy" to her.

I don't think it was anything to dump her over but you can't go back now. All attractive women get hit on at the work place, it's nothing to lose your cool over. Just don't give a sh1t about it. Be proud that you have a desirable GF. If she were to cheat on you, then dump her.

If all she can talk about is dating other guys she sounds like an idiot though. She'll probably be back for another fvck.

No, that's not a reason to dump her. If she didn't leave any beef stew behind then dump her!

what you decide you will tolerate and not tolerate is up to you and different from what others would put up with. stick with it. as you said you had other options so you don't have to ask if it was the right move. what was her response after you told her to tell him you had a boyfriend? in my opinion, i'd be glad to hear she brought home some stew rather than hearing her bring the dude. just sayin.

If you've got a hot gf, expect other guys to hit on her, give her gifts, and buy her things. AFCs make the mistake that 'nice gestures' will win the girl over. As long as you're more confident and fun than the guys hitting on her, you've got nothing to worry about. You should have asked if you could have some, and then tell her to thank the guy for you, and let him know the beef stew was delicious.

The fact that you dumped her because some other guy cooked her dinner shows that you're less confident than him. He now has higher value than you because he has the confidence to make his intentions known (no matter how stupidly he does it) and you didn't have the confidence in the fact that you're a better guy than him.

Good points.

But it's a judgement call by her. If she can take that home knowing that she has a boyfriend is poor judgement. If she has poor judgement in that respect, where else will she fail?

You're probably right. But still, I can't get over the notion that this girl is a raging AW.

Always talking to the OP about her ex's. Talking about dudes who hit on her. Bringing this dude's freakin beef stew home to feed the OP. What kind of normal girl does this?

She reminds me of this ex of mine. She'd always do sh*t like this to get a reaction out of me. So of course, I wouldn't give one.
