This just shows me how paradoxical women are in nature.

it makes me wonder, can it really set a girl straight? I understand many do it in order to gain control of their crazy wild girlfriends or wives, but how affective is it?

I personally am against it because of possible law suits and I feel that once I resort to physical violence, I am half the man i want to be. I feel that using violence shows that I lost and it is a last ditch effort.

You can find girls who like that "play rape" stuff. It's a fetish.

Some women love a dominant male. Others love submissive males. It all depends.

There are a lot more women who prefer dominant males then the other way around. The ones who like submissive males seem to be the older ones.

Generally, women seem to get aroused when men mistreat them. Basically you see mean-spirited a-hole guys treating their 35 different hot young girlfriends like crap. And the girls keep coming back for more.

But mean-spirited, psycho, b!tchy, power-hungry women are more likely to be single because no guys will put up with that garbage. This is especially true after they get older and lose their looks.
