I have this one crazy lady saying some b.s. on another forum about me. No one I care about goes there but she's trying to give me a bad rep. In short, her son was a major a-hole, I called the shots as they were, now she's trying to badmouth me.

Would it be best to just ignore her and let her look crazy or defend myself? I know in 48 Laws of Power they recommend to 'ignore those who are beneath you' but I was wondering whether that would still apply in this scenario?

Thanks in advance.

Edit: Meant to post this in the Mature Man forum. My bad.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.
