My bodyfat scale gives me anywhere from 29-33% bodyfat. I kinda suspected it was full of sh!t so I purchased some electronic calipers. It measures weight like a champ, BTW.
With the calipers I take a three site measurement three times and average it out. I pretty consistently hit around 24.5%. (I know, gotta get the fat under control)
I'm gonna see if I can get someone at my new gym to measure me to see how accurate I am.
Anyone else had bad luck with the scale?

I'm sure glad I'm not that fat.

I'm sure glad I don't LOOK that fat.
Some carry it better than others and fortunately I'm one that wears it well.
Gonna look REAL good when I get down below 12%.

Is it accurate if you measure the bodyfat on your own self, or do you need someone to measure it (like on the back)? I might be interested in getting one.

The three site method takes measurements from the chest, belly, and leg. Although it takes some practice you can measure yourself.
I bought mine (FatTrackII) @ www.bodybuilding.com (http://www.bodybuilding.com) for under $30. I've seen them elsewhere for closer to $50.
