I know this subject has been touched on before, but I've been watching some new vids of various pickup instructors, and it amazes me how some of them seem to show extremely gay tendencies. Why do you suppose that is?

I refer to the voice and the highly exagerated head movements, typical of gay men. Some of these "gurus" are over-the-top in these traits.

I can't figure out why (and indeed if) women are attracted to them in a se_ual way. It goes against every precept of masculinity, except for the fact that they are displaying aggressiveness and confidence. But how does that over-ride the obvious gay body language and vocal inflection?

I'm not going to engage any bonehead who starts screaming "h_mophobe!!" This question is strictly a matter of curiosity and a desire to understand what is going on in the culture at large and also in our own community. That should be obvious, but it won't be to the "reactors".

The fact of the matter is that these 'guys' are coming across as sexual creatures.

It's like the whole 'metrosexual' craze that has blighted men the last 5 years or so. We all think they are idiots and many of us wouldn't act/dress like they do, however, a lot of them are getting lots of girls because, more so than afc guys, they are sexual beings.

I've seen it too. It's how you can tell the difference between a man good with women, and a business man posing as a guru. There's too many smart businessmen with no real knowledge trying to make money.

Acting gay/effeminate is a good way to disarm b*tch shields and stay in sets. Most of these PUA gurus recommend approaching with indirect game, and since she's not sure of your sexuality, she's not sure whether you're just another dude hitting on her or a harmless gay guy.

And if you're an adult virgin who shelled out $3000 for a weekend field trip to a few nightclubs, you'll be WOWED by a guy who can randomly approach girls and hold a conversation, let alone get a number... nevermind that most numbers flake.

A PUA guru approaching with a more direct/masculine style is more liable to get blown out right away, leading the adult virgin to question the guy's skill. A PUA guru who acts vaguely gay is more liable to stay in set. The adult virgin sees this and actually believes the guru is good. But who is he to judge good and bad game really?

As men, do you feel that having a LOT of sex with some of the lowest girls when you can't get any from the hbs, that you're kinda gay, or like you're just an animal fvcking some dogs? Personally ...for me he seems to be a nervous virgin. He speaks as fast as a retard.

Gay guys don't have to deal with the sexual tension and the hormones going crazy so it's easy for them to talk to girls. I could see some gay guy realizing there is a market full of guys who have trouble with women and thinking "It's easy! I'll show them how to do it and make some money on the side. Oh snap!".
