Introduction

Yesterday we went for a change of venue. A wing from out of the country was in town for a few days so he messaged me and came out with me and my usual wing. Guy was pretty socially adept so I figured the night would be pretty good. I had to tell him though that the scene here is different. My advice to him consisted of being careful with the girls. When I first arrived here, I asked one of my female clubbing friends who I met at a KFC originally (and fclosed 5 days later) what the deal was with the club scene here. She gave me some pointers which I regurgitated to the new wing:

"Alot of them are working girls or are gold diggers. If you have no booth the gold diggers will shoot you down hard. There are also a bunch of cherries too. Cherries= undercover bar employees.. they dance, they give you eye contact they act like they are just there for a girls night out except there real goal is to get you to spend money at the bar buying them more drinks and generally just being AFC to impress them and raise up their sales numbers."

Summary

We go through one club my wing hits on a 2 set. Result? Girl screams at him that she is not a hooker even though he just said hi. So we eject out and head to another bar. Pickings are slim I see one girl looking totally pissed like she'd kill anyone who talks to her. Sweet.. no hooker acts like that, they usually throwing our false IOIs at guys. So I walk over and open with a comment about why shes just drinking a water. That leads to conversation and it turns out her friend is visiting and she just took her friend out to see the nightlife. I get the number after some more chat, it turns out to be my only quality number of the night.

Next club, we head in and I see jack squat.. I do see the russian girls from last week, those were working girls for sure, their pimp actually had a conversation with me a few weeks ago. Damn no actual girls not playing dice at a booth and no reason to talk to the girl in the leopard print 80s hooker skirt sitting at the bar. The girls with lollipops dancing were paid employees so no need to waste time on them either.

So I bounce outside while my wings who I cant find work their stuff. Later I go back in and my wing and I head outside, we cant find the new wing. He comes back like 5 minutes later says he met some hot girls who were "going to another club and wanted him to go with". So thats a red flag, I know that scheme, cherries go to another club and poach customers by throwing IOIs and saying they have a booth at another club. So we get to that club and the girls are there.. wow hot and obviously... cherries. The conversation goes from their booth to us being able to get a booth for a discount.. Woo hoo scammed.

We head around the club and my wing opens another table of two girls suspiciously sitting there and looking lonely. One is cute and shy, so I played dice with her and kino'd and it felt really good, thought I had a good one. She even gave me her phone number but then some guys walked over.. wow more pimps.. so we head off. I see another girl with the cherries but she isnt dressed the same so I open her. Turns out she is one of the cherries' older sister. My wing goes to talk to a cherry and gets completely blown out. I get the older sisters number then we head to one last bar for the evening. Slim pickings there too. I see a girl sitting suspiciously by herself having a cig at a table. I open her for the hell of it cause she was looking mean (maybe not a hooker) and I get blown out of the water.. oh well, we head to another set and the girls blow out the new wing bad just making huge gestures and doing the "no ****ing way" nod with their heads. Later I saw them talking to some bar employees.. probably more cherries..

The game is so different here, never thought I'd be looking to talk to the unfriendly looking ones more and shunning the girls giving the strong IOIs. :crackup:

I'm near HK. Anyways..it just finally clicked to me that this is an aspect of club game here that I've got to find a way around. Maybe other Djs are in places like this and have managed to make lemonade out of lemons. I know the challenge is alot higher to score a girl in a cash heavy environment but its better than going for those girls at the foriegner clubs who shag every guy in there.

I am assuming that HK is Hong Kong.

IOI is indicator of interest.

So apparently we have young women who are hustling guys into clubs to get them to spend money on booze, booths, tips, etc.

Pathetic... Obviously the demographics that the PRESS has given us is skewed.

Yes because one field report on one night is a complete macrocosm of the entire HK scene. Also in other news, jumping to conclusions has replaced science classes in local high schools, and superstition has replaced math. That is all.

Thanks for that.....look he is "near Honkers"On the Mainland,you know chairman Mao,one child policy and all that,might as well be on Mars....for those who don't know,Hong Kong is a very British ex colony,clean,orderly,no one honks their horn,people are soo polite,most speak English,they even drive on the left whereas the Chinese drive like Americans...when you cross the border you can feel the bump....The China three countries talks of ,so eloquently is dynamic,vibrant,terribly polluted and more like S.E.Asia generally,and yeah"we have young women who are hustling guys into clubs to get them to spend money on booze, booths, tips, etc."still small beer compared to Thailand or the Phillipines.

Well Hk and where I am are pretty different even though they are real close. Anyways the good news is the girl I thought was maybe a hooker, we talked on the phone and shes just some normal girl with wild friends. Her goal is to be a baker. Ha, anyways this is just one field report, I've met many great girls here its just I need to never go back to those uh.. crazier clubs again.
