Guys, I thought I'd tell you about what happened tonight in the hopes that it will inspire someonelse who's recently been through a separation or divorce and who is struggling to get new bearings in life.
You were all very hard on me in my last thread where I wrote about my oneitis for a married lady at work. She's still around of course but I'll try to follow your advice and get some plates to spin.
Last week I finally moved into my new condo. A very nice place and I know I'll enjoy living here.
Now that things have settled I decidet that it was time for my first night out, and I chose a drop-in salsa class!
It was a blast and there were an abundance of smoking hot women there!
My dance partner for the night was Alice, a 40 year old very tall and fit attorney.
I've always enjoyed social dancing. I think the somewhat awkward atmosphere that later usually turns into a lot of relaxed laughter and fun fits my personality quite well. It didn't take long until Alice had told me a great deal about herself and and I made her laugh a lot.
Kino wasn't a part of it since we had a lot of body contact through the dancing.
At the end I asked for her number and she gave it to me without the slightest hesitation.
I'm gonna sleep over it but maybe I'll call her and ask her out for a drink later this week.
I really need to change my mindset because my brain is conditioned in a way that makes it hard for me to "spin plates". I always take dating far to serious and I really don't want to hurt somebodys feelings. Not that women ever cared about mine....
Anyhow. First night out. One number close.
