Hi there!

I am a newbie as you may have guessed. I just came in here to say hi and introduce myself as one of the few ladies on the board. I've already posted in the main discussion board and the anything else section with mixed to disasterous results. There are a lot of sceptics around here, but as a few posters kindly advised me, I have decided to ignore them.

I've been reading this forum (which by the way is an eye-opener for me as a woman) and have been really entertained by some of the stories and some of the very sound/not so sound advice given. Someone sent me the link to one of your threads and I was hooked from then on. Writing novels is my side hustle, so I think that learning more about the male mind will help me with character portrayals and making my male characters more authentic in nature.

Anyhoo, after going thru a baptism of fire on these boards, I may stick around a while. Oh and please be gentle with me! :flowers:

Here is the clue most women don't seem to get: there isn't just one flavor of male mind. The kind of mind that produces a Dr. House or Sherlock Holmes is not the same kind that produces a Peyton Manning or Tom Brady which won't produce a Bill Clinton or Tony Blair. These types of men respond to a very different set of internal cues. Yes I know it's bad to compare fictional people to real people, but I'm sure you can handle it.

Not sure there is a girl of my dreams alive in the World, I've been married,had my kids,had the divorce. SINGLE, I'm on course to make 40k more this year[in this economy] than I did in 2000-2006 when things were booming.
