It be in his best interest to learn some real martial arts (not kung fu) and teach her a lesson.

I remember while I dated a woman who knew brazlian jiu-jitsu. During a heated argument one day, she tried to physically "submit" me to win the argument. What she didn't know I took Brazlian Jiu-Jitsu for years. I ended up submitting her instead with an armbar.

Ever since then, we've always resolved it with words =)
