This all comes back to something I read: don't go looking for an easy life. Guys bash women for running away when a man wants a relationship off the bat, but they may have the right idea. If someone basically just rolls over in a sense and makes things that easy, 9 out 10 times it's going to be trouble.
That said, if some woman is ready to marry you eventhough she lives overseas and hasn't had time to get to know you, let her go. This isn't the old days when she would be stuck with you. There are laws and rules that will give them more power along with lazy judges and lawyers who will just give the same basic rulings and arguments without taking other things into consideration.
