This is all unscientific as hell, but fck it, something different.
Me:
I rate myself a 7.5 when in shape. Maybe stretch it to just under an 8 on a real good day with a good nights sleep and some nice threads on, and a decent haircut. I also believe I look MUCH better in real life than in photos. It is just the way it is with some people.
I know one thing for sure, when I gain weight it goes first to my gut, second to my chest, followed quickly by my face. I can, in a matter of a few months of lax diet and little exercise, quickly relagate myself to a 5, 6 at best.
Some guys look ok with a bit of extra weight on the face, but not me. I just know by the way women react around me, that the more defined my face, the more interest I get.
Now - assuming you stay in shape, I reckon that most guys will average between 6.5 - 8.5 in looks. Get over homophobia and have a look around you at guys instead of girls for once next time you walk down the central business district. There are very few "Hollywood movie star looking" guys walking around, but also very few "Hunchback of Notre Dam's" either.
So, I believe the way you carry yourself as a man is so much more important than worrying about that you don't look like Brad Pitt.
OK - then, take a look at the women. I find when I do this, that there is a MASSIVE variance compared to us fellas. There really are quite a number outstanding damsels walking around, and by god there are a ton of trollops in equal numbers.
Herein my problem with women. I am either looking at an 8, 9 or at the other end of the scale, a 5,4,3 or worse.
Yeah yeah, I know all the talk of "only accept the best"..but fvck it, I'd be happy with a 7.5 - 8, maybe a 7 that had a hot bod and a good personality.
But it seems, with women, as with their personalities, you go from the sublime to the ridiculous.
Anyone else feel like this, or observed this? I can only speak for my city, Auckland, where I have made these (albeit unscientific) observations.
So, OK DJs around the world, what are your ratings of yourself, and the women of your town/city.
