I swear, just when I think i've seen it all and heard it all from women, they throw a new one at me that i'm not ready for. and for the few ladies on here, i'm about to tell you why you can't find men worth a sh!t, you've ruined them all with your dumb@$$ excuses!!! so, moving on to my story. i've been seeing this girl for a couple weeks now, nothing serious but we like each other. the subject comes up of ex's(somehow it always does). she asks me have you dated anyone from TSA(a school in my town). well i can't lie, so i say yes. she asks who. again, i can't lie, so i tell her the girls name and that we dated back in 2000/2001. she freaks out! OMG! OMG! OMG! and i'm like wtf??? she says "that's my best friend!!!!" and i'm like ok? who cares? everything i've worked for the past few weeks with this girl is gone out of the window in 0.5 seconds. i sh!t you not. she tells me "i have to be up front with you. i dunno if i can see you anymore, i feel funny talking to someone who dated my best friend." well holy hell, the first girl in the history of the world who wants to be HONEST for a change, and THIS is it??? i asked her "let me ask you this, i dated that girl for 9 months back then and don't remember ever seeing you onetime. we're ya'll even friends back then?" she says no but she knew her, they didnt start being friends until a couple years later. so wtf is the problem then??? i'm sure i can find any random girl on the street and trace her dating history back to some guy i know. so my question(s) is this. what should i have said/done? can she REALLY lose interest because of this reason? she sure didnt show any signs of dis-interest before this. i thought chicks were deceibtful, why do i meet the only one whow ants to do right by her friend? any other comments ya'll care to make about this situation feel free. i just think that's totally f*cked up. i want to argue my case but why bother you know when it looks like her minds already madeup.

sounds like it is just her personal turn off to date someone that used to date a friend of hers.
i really don't think there is anything you can do about it if her mind is made up except to accept it and bid her farewell and be done with it.

i know and i respect that, it's just the fact that i dated that girl 8-9 years ago so its not like i JUST brokeup with the girl and am now pursuing her friend. plus ALL that work i put into this and i feel like i waisted 3 weeks of my life over some b.s. i swear i have learned my lesson about this whole "so tell me about your ex's" crap. next time i'm just going to be like its none of your business, why does it matter, im with you now.

you know what, i agree with you that it is crap.
