Every now and then in my group of male friends,a couple of females might come through on occasion.When they do,they're usually going to end up finding someone attractive.One of my friends is tall, skinny,with the whole hip nerd thing going on.The other is short,and slim but muscular.Then there's my brother who is tall and athletic.Me, I'm just the big black guy.
Now out of everyone in the group It's always the two white guys who ultimately get all the female attention at the end of the day.Because of that I used to get really jealous and convinced I just wasn't attractive enough,and probably never would be.
Until I had an average looking guy who came along and taught me about self confidence,and jealousy.And that as important as looks are,they'd only get you so far.This is the logic I learned.
1.My potential is just as great as theirs.
2.It's nobodies fault but mine if I don't have self confidence
3.Being angry at a girl for not being attracted to you is just being a hypocrite.
4.You might not be somebodies type.That doesn't mean you're ugly.
5.Only desperate people settle for insecure partners,In fact only desperate people settle period.
6.Before wishing you were the other guy learn this,the grass is the same color on both sides of the fence.
7.It's not what cards you get,but how you play them.
8.Confidence should not be based on how many girls you can get,or how popular you are.It should be based on the value you have for yourself.If you have enough value and appreciation for yourself,you'll never have any need to be jealous of anyone else.
