Once upon a time there were two houses, built next to each other. In each house, there lived a man. One day both of them decided to rent a part of their house so they could earn some money. But alas, both houses were old and ugly and there was no hirer to be found. Both men were depressed.
But then one day, an architect passed by. He saw the two houses and the offer on each door. And so he told both of them: "Why don't you invest some money into your houses? It's going to pay of in the long run!"
And so they did. The first man build a second story on top of the first one. He painted the house. Then he bought roman art and greek pillars and golden statues to put on top of the roof. His house started to look beautiful.
The second man did also paint his house. He fixed everything that was broken. But then he thought, looking at the first man's house: "I won't build a second story, it's too heavy. I don't need all this roman and greek crap. I have to work on the foundation, so my house will be more stable."
And he did. Yet, while he was still working, the first man got lot's of offers. Hundreds of people wanted to rent a part of his big and beautiful house.
But then, one day, there was an earthquake. The first man's house was destroyed. So were lot's of other people's houses and so they needed a place to stay.
The second man's house however, was stable. From now on he had enough hirer's. He got lot's of money and then slowly started to make his house look better.
The first man never wised up, he kept rebuilding his palace which was destroyed again and gain.
But the second man lived happily ever after.
What am I getting at here? Well, in case you didn't get it, the two men are aspiring DJs and the hirer's are women and the architect ist sosuave itself!
So what happened? I think a lot of people on this site are like the first man. They think it's all about the looks, the grooming, the clothes. Or is it about the right patterns and pick-up lines? Or is it about obeying the rules?
No. No, no, no! It's all about the foundation.
What is our foundation? Is it confidence? Confidence comes with time. Believing in your skills. Nothing to build up just like that.
Is it knowledge? Not really.
Your foundation is challenge, patience, believing you are the great catch, or whatever you want to call it.
You can sum it up in one sentence: "Don't need women!"
Hell, I've been on a constant path of self-improvemnt since I came here in January. Yet, I was more successful with women in May than in September. Why was that? Because I became addicted to my success.
In May, I was still a virgin and I had accepted it. I played arround with women. My focus was on getting to know more people and working out in the gym and doing good at school. More and more girls became interested in me.
Then in summer I got all the sex I always wished to have. But I then started to NEED it. I thought: Now I can do it, I just have to seduce women. And so I started using my full arsenal of DJ wisdom. I used C+F, I used humor, a deeper voice, I dressed better, the gym started to pay of, I switched through my auras, made EC while thinking sexual.
Yet, I lost all my success.
You see, it's not so much about how good your house looks, it's all about the foundation. My desperation for more sex turned them of (of course, I didn't recognize the change within myself, I just thought there must be a mistake in my skills/"game" now.)
So what do we have to do? You need a mission, that hasn't anything to do with women. Here is the difference:
Al in May: Alright, I'll go to the gym today and after that we have a band meeting, let's make some good music
Oh, there will be a party this evening... sounds fun, I think I'll go there!
And thus Al walks to the party after an exhausting day and has fun and the women seem to be hitting on him which makes him even happier and funnier.
Al in september: Gym day... Nah don't feel like it, I worked out enough by now, I might take a break. Band... We don't have a guitarrist right now, it's not worth it today. Oh, there is a party today. Ahhh, another chance to seduce some women. Yeah, I am going to go for XY today and if that doesn't work out I'll go for YX!
And thus Al is bored all day so he just mentally reviews all seduction material. Then he walks to the party, starts hitting on the two girls but they don't seem to be interested. Damn, another wasted day...
Here is an interesting observation: Whenever I did the BC (which was a mission after all), my female friends started to become more interested in me. But I didn't even do anything because I concentrated on stranger HB's (The BC calls for that). I then thought: This must be your increased confidence! Nah. It's a factor. But people always give too much value to confidence. Always.
So build that foundation! FInd a mission in your life. Women are a sideline. You know that, you read it a hundred times. But do you really understand? Do you apply?
