Only half my abs show...why?

Like the title says, only half of my abs show. The right half is fully defined but on the left side, only the top of my abs shows. The lower left is not as defined as my lower right. Why is this?

And for the record, Im 6'1" at 215lbs with a body fat last tested (a month ago) at 8.7%.

clearly your bodyfat isn't 8.7%, more like 9.2% or more

at 8 % body fat they should show. Are you bloated? got a full bladder? just ate?


drank lots of water? My abs always look better in morning when i wake up and am dehydrated.

Just had a doctor visit yesterday and asked him. He attributed it to natural asymmetry in my abs combined with favoring one side over the other when I lift.

I guess that makes sense.
