I dont have any dental insurance. My orthodontist (i used to have braces, now i wear retainers) told me i really need to get my teeth cleaned and wrote me out a referral to a dentist to get that handled. That was last year...i still haven't done that yet because i have no insurance.

So the other week i was just walking outside of Best Buy and theres this girl handing out flyers saying that the local community college is having certification testing for their dental assiting program and they would pay $275 if you want to get your deep cleaning with them.

So i went in and it turns out apparently my teeth arent "dirty" enough and they said i had i couple cavities i need to get fixed right away...i told them i didnt have any insurance and they referred me to some low cost dental places but its still expensive as sh!t.

Can you guys help me out with getting dental insurance? Im really confused with all the different plans and stuff...i just want it so i can fix my cavities and clean my teeth...then ill cancel it because i wouldn't really need it anymore after that.

There this brown dot hiding in the inside gap of my front teeth...it looks like i just got done eating and a grain of pepper got stuck there...i tried to floss it out but apparently it didnt work...i think it may be a cavity...i need to get rid of that too because its rally noticeable when i smile.

I would love to go to NYC to get my teeth fixed for free and party with a fellow DJ but a roundtrip ticket from CA to NY is about $500 right now, not counting hotel and other expenses...i cant afford that bro.

I happened to know the BEST dentist specialist in SF.
but I understand your $ concerns like me dude Im broke student.
but cool man , look for a dental school there and to to an AEGD department, they are doctors already but perfecting their skills, Im doing Prosthodontics which is a stronger specialty inrestoring esthetics and makeovers. I teach dental students btw.
