First post on a forum I figure destiny has led me to (my initials being DJw)

Anyway, this first thread is quite dramatic. I'm your bog-standard HS guy- decent looks, can hold a conversation with anyone, but still have a lot of issues. However, this HS guy has just been given a lot of publicity to play with. You see, a 'bad story' about me has come to light(which everyone knows about and I stupidly have not denied!), and though I'm not too sure yet, my reputation could be in pieces.

On the other hand, alot more people are talking to me, and I think I'm handling this well(just not making a big deal out off it, and going along with all the jokes). It's the end of the semester tomorrow, and I was wondering if anyone has any advice on how to handle this situation, and re-assure girls that I'm not gay/twisted?

Well for starters what's the gay story?

This happened to me a little while ago and really messed me up. Me, of all people. I'll be honest, it's hard when a lot of people are 'against you'. After it I realized how little it would have mattered if I just played it cool. Everything bad I did to myself.

By the sounds of it your handling it well. End of the semester soon like you said, so everyone should forget about it soon. These things go away. One bad story is a lot of publicity, that isn't all bad. People who don't know you may be slightly influenced by it but remember anyone who actually knows you a bit have lots of reference points reguardig their opinion of you. One story is going to change that. People just like to laugh. Anything that makes them superior to others for a little bit they will talk about.

If you act cool no one will really care, if you act like it's a big deal people will keep taking the crap out of you and are more likely to be influenced by it. I've said that something like this happened to me and I made a much bigger deal out of it than I should. One thing I can take from that is how great it was to see some people stick up for me. You learn a lot.

Anyway the gay story was that I licked my friends semen as a forfeit for losing a dare, but I was very sick afterwards. I'm not really proud of it, but you're right- it is nice to see people stand up for you

Long story short, yes i could, but it would have made me look incredibly shady to my best friend, as we had just spent 4 hours determining a winner, and after the winning dare, he had been sick for an hour straight:nervous:
