How do you fellas deal with the texting game? my gf loves to text me constantly. Now, I understand her devotion to me lol, but sometimes I can use a little time alone when I don't have to worry about what I'm gonna respond to her last text with. The only thing I've tried is to just ignore her. This didn't work. She came up with a cute little acronym for it. N for Nice. R for Response. T for time. NRT. I'm not sure how to deal with it really. Suggestions?

If someone is texting me too much, I just tell them i'm going over my limit. If they say "well i saw you texting somebody else" just say "well that person and I are on the same carrier so its free" or something like that. Just a suggestion

A "have a nice day", "good night" or "talk to you later" usually works as a conversation ender in text messages.
You can say you'll be busy for a while and will text/call her later.
You can gradually increase the time it takes you to reply to her text messages. Remember, the time you aren't replying is the time she is thinking about you. Use this to your advantage.

DR: yea i know that and i did exactly what you're saying back before she and i started "dating officially" and now whenever i try to just ignore her and not respond she gets all upset and tells me she must be such a lame girlfriend and blah blah blah. i know what you're saying though. i consider myself pretty accomplished when it comes to girls. i was just looking for some kind of something special that has worked in this situation for someone else.

Just because a woman listens to you and acts interested in what you say doesn't mean she really is. She might just be acting polite, while silently wishing that the date would hurry up and end, or that you would go away... and never come back.

Tell her you dropped the unlimited texting because you couldn't afford the bill.
My girlfriend does the exact same thing to me and then she gets mad when i dont reply fast. What i say is this. I can't text in class because last time my phone got confiscated, and if she texts you just don't reply for a while, to be honest i prefer phone anyway so if she texts you, just call her have a chat and she wont text you for a little while at least.

I usually have like 5 minute lapses between texting and sometimes wait 30 minutes. Though it's really not like I set a time limit; I just text them whenever I want to text back. You're supposed to be a busy man; be busy! Texting wasn't meant for convos anyways. And I also usually don't put a lot in the text and try to end it asap. Like maybe 3 lines the max.
