Everyone has his own way of dealing with things. Posting here is totally fine; as long as it's not the only thing you do (which is something a lot of users seem to do here, no offense). I do the same as you, the only difference is that I find it fun to share my stories with everyone here. I might even help others with it and I like writing. So why not?
