Notice how this woman wants her husband to get a vasectomy and said that she is happily married and does not want kids....

so why not get her own tubes tied then?! If she is the one that is pushing for it why not handle that part on her side of the woods?! She is 26 years old, what happens if she changed her mind in 3-5 years and she wants a baby?! what happens if they get divorced?!

What is the point of getting married then?!

I think it is pretty stupid. Considering her age and his age.

I don't want more kids...but I am not getting a vasectomy yet. Who knows? I might change my mind in the future (doubt it).

There is some evidence that shows vasectomies correlate positively with a decrease in serum Testosterone levels (and possibly total production per unit time) as one ages.

That's really the only thing that scares me about it. I think it is probably not significant enough to be life-altering, but still.

The deal with male and female sterility procedures is, most obviously, the level of risk associated with each. A tubal ligation is an invasive, fairly major surgical procedure. There are a number of complications that can arise, some of them potentially life-threatening; not to mention the cost is considerably higher. A vasectomy is a quick, relatively inexpensive procedure that can be done right there in your doctor's office. In most cases it is reversible, and recovery time is short.

What I think is silly is that this woman is 26 and is allegedy "sure" she doesnt want kids. Pffft. Give it 5 or so years and see how that holds up. It'll get to her.

Interesting. I can see this sh1t playing out now. Mr. Provider AFC gets his tubes tied. Hor goes out and while in heat, some rock star knocks her up, but she blames it on the AFC, and he believes it. She passes on good genes and the AFC helps raise it.

Or she could really just not want kids and is too selfish to get the surgery herself.

Vasectomy is a slap-in-the-face to your natural born right to being a man. Sterility is not what nature intended when you were born (unless you were born sterile then that is what nature intended). If a medical reason demands (are there any medical reasons?) then by all means get it.

This guy getting a vasectomy because his (much younger) wife demands it is AFC. He is compromising himself. Yes, he can get it reversed. That's not the point. The point is that he is willing to get one because he wants to "respect" his woman's wishes. Ugh.

Yah. She's punking his ass out. She wants to keeps her options open. In her late 20s the bio clock will start ticking louder and her tune will change. She's got her a nutured provider all set up.

they tell women that she should talk her husband into getting it done because it is cheaper than her surgery, and less risky.
well you know what, i have always thought it was horseshat!

why ask your loving partner to do something that you yourself are not willing to do?
isn't it simpler to have your insurance company deal with it, and your dr while you are expecting and have your tubes tied right after that baby is born to be on the safe side of things?

everyone just wants to pass the buck.

I know a guy who's wife made him get snipped, and he has a high pitched voice. I wonder if the voice could be correlated to the snipping.

I would break up with a woman simply for asking, no matter how much I had liked her before.

I would never, ever, even consider it.

First your wife wants you neutered. Then she wants you to live in the dog house out back. It won't be long until you're just too much of a hassle to have around the house at all.

whatever.

If a man is sure he doesn't want to have kids, then he should get snipped, rather than demanding all his future long-term partners get their tubes tied.

If he is sure, he should make TOTALLY sure he won't become a daddy. Could cost him a lot of heartache and more if somehow he "accidentally" becomes a father.

NO, getting snipped doesn't make your voice higher! LOL.

Yep. Instantaneous, Automatic GET THE FuKK OUT OF MY LIFE RIGHT THE FUKK NOW dealbreaker.

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

He might as well go for the extra operation to get rid of that thing between his legs & have a pvssy placed there instead. I think they'd give him a discount.

Not only that, but he could sell his little dingle-dangle on the black market. There's a lot of guys aroudn here who seem to need one, and a lot of women who seem to want one of their own.

Every guy should store semen for future use and get one anyway, but it would piss me off if she asked.
