don't know if you guys have ever heard of this book or whatever, but if you get a chance, seriously, it is one of the funniest and intriguing books i have ever read. very entertaining and very true, and if this book doesn't make you proud to be a man, cut off your balls. check it out, for your wife's sake

My favorite of his work: A tribute to real men.

I like Maddox, but to me, his book was fairly disappointing. It had some funny moments, but when you compare it to the work he has on his website, http://maddox.xmission.com/ , there's no comparison. His website is pure gold. Hilarious!

But if you're interested in reading this genre of literature, I would recommend Tucker Max. He and Maddox are actually good friends as I understand it, but Tucker is wayyy funnier and a little more realistic. For example, in Maddox's book, he tells you Pirates are cool. Ooookay. In Tucker Max's book, he tells the story of how he got **** faced and punched a girl in the vagina while she was doing keg stands, among literally hundreds of other equally hilarious stories. http://www.tuckermax.com/ Check it out. I guarantee you will laugh until your entire abdomen aches, and you will come away with a lighter perspective on life.

I think the greatest difference between the two writers, is Maddox doesn't believe the stuff he says...Tucker lives it.

Maddox's articles on his website about "manliness" are very well-written.

The book is trash. Might make a good toilet-read for the downstairs bathroom...the one the wimmen-folks stay away from.

If Maddox didn't look like a weak version of a cro-magnon he could have all the ass he wanted. He's had a girlfriend or two on and off, more money than you, and he doesn't go to websites trying to figure out how to hook up with girls. He actually figured it out early, whined about it, then eventually did what none of us could do...said "F*ck it" and did his OWN thing. That's why Maddox gets more chicks than you.

Tucker Max pulls more ass because he's got the same package, figured it out (not giving a damn) a lot earlier, and has looks and a rich father to boot.

Maddox works a normal job doesn't he?

Maddox..I think his book wasn's as good as his online work. But regarding his work, remember he's mostly making fun of everything. You should no take his word too seriously.

Tucker Max is another different story.
