I like Maddox, but to me, his book was fairly disappointing. It had some funny moments, but when you compare it to the work he has on his website,
http://maddox.xmission.com/ , there's no comparison. His website is pure gold. Hilarious!
But if you're interested in reading this genre of literature, I would recommend Tucker Max. He and Maddox are actually good friends as I understand it, but Tucker is wayyy funnier and a little more realistic. For example, in Maddox's book, he tells you Pirates are cool. Ooookay. In Tucker Max's book, he tells the story of how he got **** faced and punched a girl in the vagina while she was doing keg stands, among literally hundreds of other equally hilarious stories.

I think the greatest difference between the two writers, is Maddox doesn't believe the stuff he says...Tucker lives it.
