She's not in a higher social class or anything,we have some friends in common. She just has a lot more of them simply. It's probably just because I'm more of a quiet guy.

It never really bothered me until today when she asked me if i wanted to go to a local show her friend's band is playing in. She's seems like the type of girl that would be attracted to musician/artist type, so I'm a just a little worried she might ditch me for one of these many guy friends.

Maybe its not a big deal, but it's starting to bother me because all I read here is that social proof is the most important thing to a girl.

Stop chicking out and thinking too highly of your gf just because she knows people you don't.

Go to the show and be open and social. Talk with her friends and joke just like you would do with your friends

Read. Read. Read.

Stop placing value on the number of friends in your life. Instead place value on the strength/value of the relationships that you have with your friends.

You are being very insecure about the issue. Why would she leave you for one of these guys? You're way more of a man then they will ever be.

Yeah it's important. But just because some other chode has social proof, doesn't mean that you can't have more social proof then the. Bust into the show just chatting to everyone, just be friendly. Talk to her friends like they are your friends as well.

Thinking like this may affect you in such a way that possibly the next time she may not envite you along.

Why not meet some of her friends?

Or why not spend all your time hanging out with your mutual friends and go out with your own social circle from time to time? You control your social life, not your girlfriend.

Don't worry about her guy friends. Worry what her actions are showing you around her guy friends...

Don't be insecure that she may leave you for one of them... Just make friends with her friends.

dude, so many of these popular chicks don't even know how to spell, I mean look at their myspace pages spelling bare as bear and miracle as miricle. So many chicks as soooo fvckin stupid and will have to rely on a MAN to get them through life. Be that Man, improve yourself, and make the better life for her to rely on. The problem is that she may never run outta funds, because there's so much wealth in this country that her cashflow may not be stopped until she's in her early thirties, either by her daddy or her satellite guy friends.
