Who cares he's not black. If we reversed the races you'd be glad justice was done.

The justice system is about money, more so than black or white. However what the police do is more often dictated by black vs white. This is nothing new.

I'm perfectly OK with this if the picture I'm seeing is accurate. Here's my deal; while I believe it's incredibly irresponsible to drive while impaired, I'm what some call a results oriented person. In other words I don't care why you do what you do, I just care about what you do.

In this case the man charged seems to have been the one who was at fault, sober or not, then he made the real error of being a hit and run driver.

He's in hot water and that's as it should be.


I didn't see anywhere except in the writers innuendos where the girl actually did anything really wrong.


While we're on the subject, while people who drive drunk, don't wear seat belts and otherwise do dumb things annoy the heck out of me I'm not sure laws against 'precursors' like this are really fair. Drug addicts sometimes steal, therefore drugs should be illegal. That's broken logic, and while I also abstain from illegal substances I have doubts about the usefulness or fairness of those laws as well.

this is a shame, but I don't need this as a racial thread.
