I'm trying to detach myself from a oneitis and haven't started yet but will have other girls to go on dates with soon. I would like to hook up w/ her if this happens to make her jealous and come back to me, but first how to answer this question smoothly?

Oneitis has been wondering lately if I've been mad at her, and why I stopped calling her.

How do you men tell them that you're busy?
Especially if they want to know what you've been doing, etc?

I don't think I can just keep saying

"I'm just busy."

Maybe he should tell them the TRUTH. And if the truth SUCKS...then maybe he should focus on improving his life FIRST...before even attempting to date a woman.

Personally...if he has Oneitis...the best thing he can do is AVOID her.
 

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Keep it vague. I'm busy with work. Busy with personal stuff. Just busy. You don't need to explain, especially if your goal is to make her jealous (which I don't advise, but understand). Not knowing the details will make her think about it more.
