Do you guys consider this a big red flag?

This girl has been giving me obvious IOI's, eye contact with big smiles, acts shy and nervous around me, etc.. real cute chic. Looks like she's reaching for a new branch.


Here's the issue.

Her current BF is SUCH white trash, and I can't even stress that enough. They've been together a while. If you looked it up in the dictionary his face would be there. The type that is completely insecure, challenges people to fights, very obnoxious, has that trailer park look, just a complete jackass. I'm embarrassed for him. Its REALLY REALLY AWFUL! He's probably 30 with the mentality of a 4 year old.

On this girl, well, I don't know a ton about her but if you saw her you would say "what the hell is she doing with this guy?" Everybody says it. She dresses conservative, is college educated. She at least has the the look of somebody "normal". I know enough losers and their girlfriends and all these girls are similar in that you can see why they are with this type of person. This girl just doesn't fit the bill from what I can tell on the surface.

So, do I even bother with this chic?

It just really bothers me that she would even be with somebody like that. Its such a turnoff and I don't know if I'm being irrational here. I just see at as a red flag. It makes me believe that she is internally screwed up to find it acceptable to have a boyfriend like that. :kick:

Sure sometimes a chick might get with a guy like this because he shows her some side of his personality that sets off her emotions that no other person is allowed access to or sees but most of the time its just a chick whose got no self respect dating a loser because she doesn't feel she's worth anything better.

It sounds like your scared of her boyfriend..If you don't think you can beat him in a fight or he is to intimidating then stay away from her.

nothing wrong with avoiding bodily harm and knowing when to pick your fights...but don't sit here and start trying to pick her apart from a distance and make assumptions, high school chicks pull that shit NOT men, if she's not your type, fuck her and keep it moving sun son, (yea i said it twice)

Thats exactly what I was thinking.

I would run as fast as I could in the other direction from this women. This is coming from a guy who is always up for a challenge. She's just a waste of time, nothing good could come of spending time with her.

This brother has it right. Listen to the "little man" who lives in your gut. He never lies.

This girl is confusing her emotional sways as misguided love. She thinks she can change him but if she's interested in you then she is obviously looking for a way out. Brother D&B is quite crude but makes a valid point that her idiot may want to lean toward violence. In that case be sure you want to throw down with that garbage, that's up to you.

you're probably right.

Women tend to have very maleable personalities. They will often change depending on the person they are with. I would definetely do a follow up. Try imposing your will on her. See where it leads.
