I'd agree with you Watertiger, that would be just and fair. But it WON'T happen. Justice and fairness have little to do with the family court system as it is now.
It's an income redistribution mechanism, which seeks to push the EASIEST money around. "Father" is the most vulnerable position one can be in (excluding a physically abusive situation.)
Men have no true recourse. I'll admit, fathers have responsibilities. And they should met those. But the system is seriously flawed. and this is only one example of its failings.
