What are ways to go about doing this? Especially for all you college DJ's...image is reallllllllllllllllll important..i.e. being seen with girls = interest from more girls.

Anyone at all? Would rushing a frat be a good idea?

Depends on the situation. It's not like I can step out of my house and everyone knows my name. People know me by the places that I go. I frequent certain places from time to time. When I go to those places, the people know me, and in those cases my social proof is high.

If I go to a party, I show up with 1 or 2 friends. I'm invited, so I must obviously know the person who's throwing the party. I talk to that person, and since it's their party, everyone else is gonna at least stop by to say hello to that person. At that time, I introduce myself to those people. Sometime during the party I'm gonna come across that person again, so I talk to them. I believe this builds social value.

I guess, over all, just talk to people that you're around. Sometimes I randomly high five people I don't even know, just to get some attention on me.
