i was just curious as to how anabolic steroids are detected. is it a urine sample, or blood sample? even then, how is the steroid found?

They usually sample around 30ml of urine and then test it with a few methods. Not EVERY steroid is detected cause there are so many, but your majority of the ones used are. If it is some totally off the wall deal, maybe not. Also too, they each have their own detection times.

Some can be as little as 1-3 days, and some as long as 18 months. So truth be told, for people that take them, just asking how they are tested and with what does no good if you dont know their detection times.

Either you are thinking about taking them or its a question for a friend because most people dont just randomly ask unless they are curious in some way.

Well if you really are interested in them, and some people are, I suggest Anabolics 2008 (or it may be 2007). Anyway it is the most complete book EVER on the subject.

I just read crap all the time, and like to learn what I can, so for me though I dont take them, its kind of interesting what they are used for, where they get them, and the whole 9yrds. Just good reading material.
