I am an English Literature graduate, obtained a 2,1 last year but since then I have been taking some time out really, have no idea what I want to do with my life and for this reason I have not had a job. Every job I seem to look at seems boring or unobtainable. I have applied for lots of things but as of now I have found nothing. Anyway, time flies ridiculously fast and I am now in the position where I really do need to get working and there is a great gap in my CV. Any advice?

umm... "finding yourself". I'm not sure we don't really have the dole over here so I don't really know what to say.

Just write 6 months holiday, 6 months volunteer work. Show you’re financially sound and that you can afford holidays and that you have a heart for doing the right thing. Makes your CV look so much better.
