healthy bodyfat?

what is a healthy bodyfat % to maintain?


i want it to be low enough to have good abs and facial definition but not so low that it is unhealthy or unsustainable.

it would help if someone could post a picture of what said bodyfat looks like

what you see in magazines is low, 5-6% but those physiques are pharmaceutically enhanced and don't believe a lot of that - those are professional juice heads and each photo was shopped for an hour before it made it into the magazine. 8-10% you will have visible abs. If you can get to 7% you would be very ripped. I would not go any lower for heath reasons.

You can get down to 2% naturally if you want to. My friend dropped down to 3.5-4% naturally w/o supplementing for his show. Your correct though about the photos,lighting and a lot of photoshopping is put into the pictures.

8-10% you will have visible abs. If you can get to 7% you would be very ripped. I would not go any lower for heath reasons.

You can stay at 6% bodyfat w/o health issues. I've been warned that anything else looks unhealthy and you feel like crap.

I thought it was the bottom 2 that usually didn't show. Particularly since my top 2 are my biggest and always show even when i'm kinda fat. Hmm. Now i'm gonna have to find out.

ive been eating well and doing cardio with my weight training, but i dont seem to be getting much definition, how do i lose more body fat? id say im around 14% i want body fat like people off 300
