...or do you need chemistry to really let loose? I know i'm funny, but i can't be funny around certain people, certain women. I think i have to know that i can trust the woman and the only way i can trust her is if she is mature and emotionally healthy. If i'm with a woman who is hard, sarcastic, cynical, etc, the funny vibe isn't there and CAN'T be there. I think humor relies on the atmosphere both people put out. Funny thing is when i am speaking in front of a crowd or group, the group as a whole allows me to be funny because there isn't time or opportunity to determine who is trustworthy, sarcastic, cynical, hostile, etc, so i'm able to go with a collective vibe.

How about you? Can you be funny with any woman regardless or is my experience universal?

Unless she is a drone or has the personality of a shoehorn you should always try to make her laugh. Hell, make everyone laugh.

The more she is attracted to you from the get go, the more she will laugh on your jokes even though they can be pretty bad.

ha, frustrated cynicism can be REALLY funny, provided there's a connection. My past oneitis is so fearful of being vulnerable that she's developed a very pushy exterior. ("Pushy" meaning pushing others away from her). Pretty much any teasing on her is taken with paranoia and ANY attempt to "get serious" for a moment and discuss her personality, etc is greeted with theatrical "wtf-are-you-talking-about?" contempt. I once asked her if she considered herself an introvert or extrovert and you would have thought i asked her for the results of her last pap smear. No exaggeration! She is so pathologically afraid of intimacy that she will do anything to keep things superficial....

Women GENERALLY are attracted to funny guys, We know that, however there are some women out there who have a poor sense of humor. They often times become hypersensitive about mild C&F stuff and get all huffy about the most innocent jokes.
I had an incident late last year. The nutcase that I was dating turned up to a bar-b-que in a pair of those white pants which were only ankle length. I said ," hey, nice KARATE pants." She got all pissed and almost cried. She ranted on later about how rude and insensitive I was being - " You criticized my appearance ! " Geez - some women !
She acted as if I had eaten her children and f**cked her sister...
These kinds of women are problems- you will always be "on egg shells " around them .

Humor is what YOU make of it. And it illustrates that YOU and only YOU has control over your emotional state. That's what humor does!

I tend to make women laugh. Ugly or hot, fat or sexy, young or old. I don't care. If they don't fine my off-hand remark funny...that's fine. Who cares?

You see? My charm comes natural with me. And when something is natural...I don't care which woman gets the charm or one of my off-hand funny remarks.

I NEVER approach people thinking "will she/he like me?". I always approach thinking if I would be the one liking them.

The only way to master this stuff is by getting out there an interacting with people. Especially women. As charm and funny should never be reserved solely for the women we want to lay.
