I had nothing to do the other day and had all day to do it and I was wondering whether women and men can truly expect equal treatment in all circumstances these a days - I suspected not, so here is what I did a week ago to test my suspicion.
I walked into "Z" Mart to buy some spray paint and noted the female security guard standing just inside the entrance. She looked like someone's "Aunty Bully ". You know the type !
I found my can of white paint in Hardware,and went back to the security lady and said ," I would like you to come with me . There is a lady down in Hardware who is annoying me. She won't leave me alone. "
The Guard lady replied with a sneer," Lucky YOU." and just casually walked off.

I can only speculate as to her reaction had I been a woman complaining about a man. MY guess is that the cops would have been called pronto.

Good to see it's not just in the good ole' US of A!

There are two problems with your experiment:

1. How good was your acting job? Without knowing more information, it sounds like she correctly thought you were BSing her.

2. You need to repeat your experiment with, say, another 20 security guards, at different stores, of different demeanor, on different nights and times. On the flip side, you would also need for another guy whose personality is totally than yours do the same with another 20 security guards. Until then...
