I used to be a pretty lean guy, and now I've gained a few extra pounds (and it's starting to show :(). My biggest pet peeve is the extra chin I'm starting to get. I've read some articles that say to stretch the neck/chin muscles out, and results will be seen (Is this true?).


I know basic fat loss is a solid answer, but don't know where (specifically which kind of exercises are most effective, etc.) to start as I've always had to focus on gaining (Running sucks by the way, surly there must be better methods?).

You seem to know the answer.

It's incredibly hard (perhaps impossible) to spot reduce fat, you just need to work on reducing your overall fat levels.

It comes down to eating less and moving more.

Hit the weights, do cardio and watch what you eat. If you see your progress stagnating, up cardio and decrease what you are eating.
