Whether it's your guy friends or woman friends, do any of you look shorter or taller than you really are? I'm 21 and am 5'8 barefoot but thought i was 5'9 until the doctor measured me a few years ago. The thing is I have this sort of spikey -afro type hair that makes me look taller.

I have some friends that are around 5'8 but i look taller than them b/c my height is sort of tricky. When i wear shoes, I am 5'9 and my hair adds probably another 2 inches. However, when i get a haircut, I look like i SHRUNK and look real short. That's why i always keep my spike-mini afro going.

Is it me or am i so bothered by the 5'8 height? I just want to be 5'9 since that is average and 5'8 sounds like OH so close if you get what i mean.

I also see a lot of woman who say they prefer a guy to be AT LEAST 5'9. Does 5'8 and 5'9 mean that big of a difference to woman especially those shallow ones?

I am always answering these height questions it feels like.

Don't worry about your height. 5-7" 5-8" 5-9" doesn't matter all that much unless that extra inch is on your wang.

Hell when I got my drivers license it reads 6'11" (which I'm not) and when I got my mug shots it said I was 6'9" (which I am)

Don't stress about a few inches, I've missed out on a lot of hottie short chicks cause I'm an oaf...so get out their and get'em

We are NEVER satisfied with our genetics. I envyed a guy (I'm no queer LOL) that was 6'1" and had arms as big around as telephone poles...I'm extremely lanky...he tells me flat out in the gym "Man I'd kill to be you, your tall and everyone respects you"

Hell I'd rather be like him and be benching 450lbs.

Doesn't matter what our genetics are, we are never satisfied.

Wow your tall then. I have another question though it is going to be very broad. What would be the idea height for a male and female? I heard male being 3-6 inches taller is best whereas one person said 6 inches.

im 6'0 and some people say I dont look that tall, so I ask them and they say cause I have a young face. WTF.

if you are 3 inch taller they can wear 4inch heels and still be the same height as you, so 3+ is desirable
