I don't get it. I've cleaned up my diet, try to do cardio 4 times a week (sprints, not jogging or walking either) and I'm still about the same weight.

I've been lifting alot less lately due to my gym membership running out and the highschool weightroom supervisor opens up the school weightroom when he pleases. So I know I'm losing muscle yet I still weigh the same!

What the hell is going on? Am I not working hard enough in my cardio. Do I need to sprint until I pass out in order to burn fat? Christ what is going on!?!

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

What is your carb intake like?

I wouldn't suggest dropping carbs completely, but if your carb intake is too high, you may find it harder to burn fat. My advice would be to limit your carbs to the morning and try to go the rest of the day with as little as you can. I've been having amazing success doing this recently.

Other suggestions, if you're not already doing so, is to eat 6-8 small meals per day, drinking lots of water and try green tea (I prefer the pills personally, but the tea is probably better). This will help speed up your metabolism.

Cut your calories down to 1,500 to 1,800 calories a day and you'll lose weight. Search the internet for the name Nancy Clark and look up her book called the Sports Nutrition Guidebook.
