What's good nightlife in San Jose? I'm flying out there Sunday and will be there for a week. Anyone have any dining or bar/club recommendations? I'll be staying near the convention center.

That's what I'm trying to find out...where the good nightlife spots are. Or at least good somewhere where I can go get some good food and hit up a chick or two.

There's a place in San Jose called Santana Row. There are a lot of extremely upscale shops and cafes.

At night, and you'll see some of the most beautiful cars! Ferraris, Lambos, etc. I recommend a bakery called Bijan Bakery. I've been there twice. They have awesome desserts and coffee. Definitely go there, it's always packed like a motherf*cker, and you'll see a lot of hot women. There are also bars/clubs in the area. Just ask around. Santana Row is definitely one of the hotspots though, so be sure to check it out.

edit: Actually, I was there a long time ago, so it may have been Saratoga Avenue. Check it out also.

There's a club called Vivid in downtown San Jose. You definitely want to check that one out.

But realistically if you want to go clubbing, you might want to head to San Francisco.

But Vivid is pretty good. It's more Asian girls though.

If you're looking for more white girls, you want to go head down to Palo Alto. Check out a club called Nola's and Blue Chalk. You can also check out F&A's in Emerson in Palo Alto.

If you're looking for latina girls, check out a club called Agendas in Downtown San Jose.

Don't go to Santana Row. It's a bit overrated. If you must go there, go to the V-bar. But it's expensive and it's not worth it.
