Hi, I'm new to these forums so before I get into my main query, let me tell you all a little bit about myself...

I'm a 22 year old virgin with minimal dating experience and I live with my family (parents, sis, nephew) in Brooklyn. I have my own two bedrooms across the hall from our main apartment. Money's tight and I don't start my new job for another week or two. I'm getting over my low self esteem (brought on throughout the years by an overbearing older sister) and have been reading up on all this donjuanery at this site, seducer's diary & chickmagnet101 for the past 2 or 3 months. As far as applying the knowledge goes, that's coming along at a snail's pace but I'm further along then I was say last year.

I'm tall and pretty handsome; an 8 at least most of my female friends tell me, but as I've learned that counts for nothing without a high level of confidence which I'm still struggling to build. Though I am talented at illustration and massaging.

Anyway, onto my query. I've recently come back into contact with a very beautiful friend of mines from High School through mysPace. Back in the day, a mutual friend of ours told me she was into me but I was too much of a wuss to step up. Anyway, she recently messaged me saying we need to catch up cuz it's been a while. I replied with "You're right. We DO need to hang; it's been too long. What's your phone #?" and a couple of days ago, she sent me her digits.


Now I realize PUAs look down on the "One sPecial Girl" attitude and let me just say this isn't that. I'd be content with just being another guy friend to her if nothing of a more physical or romantic nature panned out. But I'm already a guy friend to enough babes and frankly I'd like to turn my luck around with this one.

So now that you know about me and my situation, I'd appreciate whatever wisdom you can sPare. Thank you.

Why are you randomly capitalizing your P's?

Basically you know she's interested in you because she messaged you first. You have the digits, so call her up and suggest that you two get together for drinks or something. Progress from there.

Oh, it's not random. I have this quirk where I capitalize all "P"s following "S"s. I've done it for so long, I've forgotten why.

And it's neither here nor there to rag on a minor habit of a dude's that has nothing to do with the problem he came seeking wisdom for. That would be like me pointing out how you missPelled (whoops! did it again) "retarded" and "supposed".
