I am going through a divorce right now. Honestly I have no more emotional ties to my soon to be ex at all. I mean I like her still and I don't want her to hurt or anything, but I don't love her at all anymore. For the past 2 years we have basically been living seperate lives in the same house. We paid the bills together, we slept in the same bed, but when we where at home we basically always stayed in seperate rooms.. well now its at the divorce point.

On with the story..

Since the divorce stuff started, I have been trying to talk to different people, It has been 7 years since I was in the game.. I have met one very interesting person, we have exchanged several long emails, we have text messaged each other, we have talked on the phone, and we had dinner together, all of this in about the span of a week of knowing each other. Now I am not trying to jump back into anything serious and I don't want to rush into anything either, but I do like this lady, and want to get to know her better. She knows I am going through a divorce. Can someone give me some tips, subtle ways for me to let her know that I am interested in knowing her more then just a friend? What advice can you give for a fallen brother?

1. texting/IMing/emailing/calling won't do you any harm - but it won't do you any good, either. Just have 2 minute chats to set up a meeting to talk in person.

2. Kino. That means occasionally touch her. I like to just shove a girl, and say the word "shove!" And then deny that I shoved her. Just be playful.

3. We have something called ****y and funny. That's just a way of making it obvious that you're flirting. If she works in a restaurant, wave your hand in front of your nose, and say, "I thought I smelled bacon." Make fun of her a little.

Just keep her laughing, and give the occasional touch or long eye contact to let her know that you "mean business." Say you're attracted with actions, not words.

You need to progress physically. That is the only true way of conveying interest and at the same time finding out how much she's into you. Any move is better than no move.

If you wait too long she will put you in the friendz only zone and she will be very unconfortable when you attemp anything physical.
