How do I measure my bodyfat percentage?

Using a bodyfat chart it's says put your height and then your waist measurement but what area of the waist is it? Is it around the belly buton or where my belt is wore?

Now where my belt is wore I am 34 and if around the belly button it is 40 but some if this is bloating.

Anyway, putting all the info in the chart if the measurement is supposed to be around my belly button then I am carring a 24 percent bodyfat and if where my belt is I am carring 12 percent.

Now this morning I decided to measure my height and was surprised to find I have shrunk I am now 74 inches tall which is 6-2 210.

Scatching my head here.... For years I have always thought I was closer to 6-4 and just took the word of those who measured me so I guess my weight is more than sufficant enough for my height and just need to work at getting my belly down I guess to bring everything into proportion or to figure what is lean on me and what is total fat.

Though my main objective was to bring up lagging body parts to my body like my legs and they are coming on good with Squats and Deadlifts etc., and basically turn what weight I have into muscle weight or bring it to a good body weight healthy percentage.

Am I making sense here? Or do I need to take a pill ;)

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

bodyfat charts are nearly useless, for many reasons that you can probably guess. any chart almost certainly calls your beltline "hips" and your belly button "waist."

you can't turn fat weight into muscle weight. but you can increase muscle mass while losing bodyfat (if you're willing to do both fairly gradually). better to pursue this by lifting constantly (and always working up to new pr's to be sure you're progressing) and eating sensibly + some cardio to lose bodyfat. lots of advice in the archives here on how to do this.

OK sounds good Throttle.

Guess I am on the right track as I intend to continue lifting and building up the muscles and I understand what your saying about the charts.

Thanks,
